Cabernet Sauvignon Chardonnay Syrah Merlot Grenache Carignan Malbec Cinsault Our wines AOC Minervois Biscan-Pujol Malbec This variety resists well to oïdium. It is generally grown with a long trimming method on low productive graft-vines in order to limit the effect of flower abortion. In warm conditions, flower abortion is at a lesser risk due to the climate during the blossoming. Trellising must be high for a rich production for the first years and will garanty a good balance between the grapes and the wood when barreled. The Yield ranges between 80 to 100 hl/ha. At our winery we trim short to control the yield. Its production is an average of 40 to 50 hl, up to 80 hl/ha in richer soils. The plant is well adapted to the Languedoc. The wine is colourful, full of tannins which are less fragrant but softer than those of the Cabernet. The Malbec, with a minium of 20% for a blend, smoothens the wine. We blend the 25% of Malbec with the vareities of Merlot, Syrah, Grenache for our Pléïade. This wine is a vins de pays d'Oc and part of our Biscan-Pujol range...
